  • ASRock P67, VT-d feature needs a BIOS fix please

I cannot get VT-d to work on ASRock P67 Pro, I have updated to latest bios, run ESXi4.1 with CPU i7-2600, both support VT-d.

    Sadly there is no VMdirectpath.

CPU i7-2600 capable of VT-d Intel site:

ASRock P67 Pro capable of VT-d manual (Page 45):

It appears to be a chipset P67 needs a BIOS fix.

Someone managed to get VT-d with P67 chipset (Intel DP67BG) working recently.

Appreciate a "beta" BIOS fix for the ASRock P67 please?

    Hello,

The p67 / vt-d issue is out. intel write that the only issue is q67 to have vt-d.

You must have 3 points : processor, bios , chipst (h67/p67 bad q67 ok) if you miss one it is down!...
Sorry for thisn bad news, see on intel web...

Unofficially there appears to be a BIOS fix for Intel board DP67BG which is a P67 chipset, someone () had tested it with success and screenshots, so if it works on DP67BG couldn't this be possible with others?

Even if it does not pass 100% VT-d testing?
