MB alivexfire-esata2 r3.0. If memory in 2. and/or 4. slot(s), computer dont boot (monitor-display turn off). Computer boot only if memory in 1. and/or 3. slot(s). Why?

Now test with RAM only in one slot, like only slot 2 and then only in slot 4 and then you'd know which slot has gone bad.
If it's still under warranty then get it fixed, if not then use it as long as you get your work done on it.

MB I buy new. I have 4x1gb memory. When memory only in 2. or 4. slot, computer dont boot, display dont turn on. Computer only work with 2x1gb in 1. or 3. slot memory. Memory is a-data pc 800 cas 5. I have and memory 2x1 gb transcend, but work only in 1. and 3. slot. I try with other memory, but same. Proccesor is amd 64 x2 4000+.Comment
