Asrock Z68 Extreme7 Gen3 No Display port video out

There is no display port video out signal from the motherboard. The DVI-D and D-Sub both work when I enanble the onboard video. When I disable the onboard video, the monitor works with a display port signal from my video card when it is (installed). That rules out a bad cable or monitor. I'm not sure which way to go here. Does anybody have any ideas?
