• ---->New ASRock entusiast coming!! Hello to all the Community!! <----

Hi! to everyone!!
I just bought(yesterday), for the first time, an ASRock:
the Extreme 7 Gen 3, and i've to say that for the tecnology it give, it's a bargain!!!

I just receive the board and lost all last night to put all togheter my pc...
First impression: great looking card!! well made and well finished!!

but i've to say that, coming from Asus, it gave me some more issue for the settings...

I'm no expert on the intel boards but try going into the uefi and loading optimised defaults, save and exit, re-enter uefi and setup your HDD SMART/SATA and such to start.

Did your motherboard come with a UEFI BIOS guide?
You might find it on the included dvd.
A web search using: asrock z68 "bios guide" tutorial
should provide more information.

Re: ---->New ASRock entusiast coming!! Hello to all the Community!! <----

Quick and dirty here...Flash the UEFI to the latest BEFORE installing your OS and since you have an SSD make sure that you set the Intel SATA Controller to AHCI BEFORE you install your OS and turn OFF Agressive SATA Link Power Mgmt in the UEFI
