Is ASROCK USB 3.0 bootable?

Hi. I just got ASROCK usb 3.0 card ASRock > Products > USB 3.0 Card and as I understand I can't use this card to boot for example hiren's boot cd from usb drive or windows installation from usb? is that correct? if so then this card is going to dumpster...

You can't boot from that card. You can only boot from disks or ports which are onboard and have boot option in mainboard's bios.
