Hi, I've problem with SSD OCZ Vertex 4 64Gb, BIOS detection on both controllers (AMD, ASmedia). SSD is not recognized at all. Sometime it's detected as "tape drive" ?! AHCI or IDE mode, acts the same. Could it be because od 970DE3/U3S3 BIOS?

It could be, but it also might the the AMD SATA controller driver. I don't know if your board has one of these AMD SATA chipsets, but if it does, try the AHCI driver:

These drivers have helped with Vertex 4 detection issues on other AMD boards. -

BIOS won't detect SSD, and Windows 7 too. But BIOS does not have anything with chipset drivers.Comment

A web search using vertex 4 ssd not detected will provide several Vertex 4 links in the OCZ SSD forum.
It's possible that an ssd firmware update might fix the problem.
