  • Z77 PRO3 - where do I update my drivers / other problems

Some of the features on the MOBO aren't working. Three crashes at launch; persistence.exe, some other program and VirtuMVP.exe
I also get frequent bluescreens, I did reseat my RAM.
I only used the disc provided for the MOBO but I don't know where to update it from there. My GPU is updated
Many other programs often crash, like steam, guild wars 2, skype. My last MOBO didn't have this problem although that's like saying an entirely different system works better

Thanks, I'll make sure I do that. Could this be the reason why a lot of my programs crash?

If you are getting windows BSODs, you can run WhoCrashed (freeware) and post the report information.

I'll give that a try later, and the diagnostic shows that no problems were detected.

I have a friend that had the same problem, and what he did is turn the frequency of the RAM down, however I don't think I can turn 1333 down. I'm going to buy better RAM and if that doesn't solve it, I will post in this thread again. Thanks for the help guys

Memory should run fine provided you set the right voltage for it,what dram voltage are you using? If its 1600mhz set it to that and set 1.55v dram voltage
