Hi there, I have a external dvd rom and trying to boot using the UEFI function but it does not want to load. I'm using the f11 option to make sure of it. What can I do? Is there a setting in the bios? The USB option loads and I can install using this my option. But I need to install OS using UEFI.

One of the F11 boot options doesn't list the dvd/usb as UEFI: (insert dvd/usb stick name here) ?

And it would be helpful if you would go to "Edit my Profile" and enter your system specs so that we know what HW you're using/discussing/asking help for.
#1 - Please, when seeking help, enter the make and model of ALL parts that your system is comprised of in your Signature, or at least the model #'s in your System Specs, then "Save' it.
____If you are overclocking, underclocking, or undervolting any parts, informing us of this and their values would prove beneficial in helping you.

#2 - Consider your PSU to be the foundation from which all else is built upon. Anything built upon a weak foundation is poorly built.

And don't forget, AFIK, to date, the usb stick must be formatted FAT32 to use as a medium for UEFI install.
