I bought the ION 330HT-BD like 3 years ago and never used it much. Now that I have more use for it, I thought to add an SSD while keeping the stock hdd. After starting to install it I realized that I had lost the sata data and power cable that comes with the sytem. The power cable in particular for an extra drive looks like it's proprietary. Is there anyway I can buy these cables ? I tried creating a ticket with Asrock but it seems like they are taking a while in replying. Any ideas ?

4-pin power from a rectangular socket on the MB. I suppose if one was creative enough one could make one up. Still haven't heard from Asrock. I agree, "if only it were that easy" I've checked several places with no success so it does indeed look like the cable is proprietary.Comment

buy a molex to sata power adaptor,they are cheap on ebay

When I called (during regular business hours), somebody picked up right away and was like "Asrock". No automated phone menu which alarmed me. After explaining what I needed they transferred me over to somebody else. They basically told me to send them a request in writing explaining the cable I needed along with a check or money order (they charged 10 dollars for both the proprietary power cable and the short sata cable). I sent them a picture of the accessories list for my model and circled the cable I needed. Within a week I received a package with my address hand written on it but it did have the correct cables inside.
All in all, a very weird transaction considering Asrock is a major manufacturer and this seemed like the only way to get the cable. I forgot the address but I'm sure they will tell you where you need to mail the request to.
