  • ASROCK X97 Extreme11 Can't boot with LSI drives!

    Hi,

I have 4 Samsung SSD's in RAID 10 on the LSI controller. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate, and it goes to boot the first time, and then I get a blue screen of death. I tried taking the drives out of RAID10 and did a test install of windows 7 and it still fails.

When I tested and loaded another drive on the Intel controller, Windows installed and booted fine.

That makes me think the issue is with the LSI SAS2308 controller.

Any suggestions? One of the main reasons I bought this motherboard was to have a build in RAID controller so it wouldn't affect CPU performance like the Intel one does.
