Installing WiFi wires on Z87 Extreme 6/ac

Just got all my equipment for a brand new build and began with the motherboard. I would post a page from the manual but I can't get it to download. There are 2 small wires that supposedly connect to the module on the mobo, but it doesn't look like they easily attach. Do I need some type of tool for this or should I just force them on? See step 2 on page 17 of the manual if possible to see what I mean. It reads "then attach the SMA wifi antennae cables to the wifi module."

It looks like the connectors are sub miniature coaxial connectors that might be threaded or push on types.

Is the attached picture similar to your wifi cables?

They are push on connectors, the instructions are decent IMO. Push on, friction fit connectors are very common.

The mobo was bending trying to push them on - before I went too far I wanted to make sure. It is a U.FL connector and I read that the female connector is "not designed with reconnection in mind".

It looks like you will need to provide support directly below the connectors to prevent damaging your motherboard.
It might be somewhat easier if you use a slight twisting motion while connecting the wifi wires.

Got them on/in. They are TINY connectors and it feels oafish to press them on with my fingers, but whats done is done!
