You'll need to explain this part better, "... happens wen I plug the usb hub into PowerPoint".

When you said, "tried turning on my PC but it won't turn on", what does that mean, nothing happens at all, or it won't start Windows, or what?

        Re: Usb hub

We have no idea what you are describing when you say "My usb hub comes with its own power plug when I plug my usb hub into PowerPoint".
You haven't provided any information about your hardware setup other than misspelling the motherboard model name.
We might be able to help you if you provide a link to the manufacturer's webpage for your usb hub and you include the full model name/number of your usb hub.

Is PowerPoint some type of wall outlet?
A google search using powerpoint usb hub has a link to some images, but that's all.

          Re: Usb hub

Sorry, I agree with Prof Jim, I don't really understand the PowerPoint reference.

PowerPoint is Microsoft software product for creating presentations. Do you mean you have the PowerPoint software on a disk drive that you connect to your PC with a USB cable, but when that is connected to your new USB hub, the PC will not "turn on", as you said?

Does "not turn on" mean the PC does nothing at all, a blank screen, or do you mean that Windows does not start?

            Re: Usb hub

My usb hub come with its own power cord, hence the power outlet on wall.. Once usb hub is connected to my PC it doesn't turn on at all, then after I disconnect the hub my PC will turn back on and work fine.

              Re: Usb hub

Will your PC start if you connect the USB hub to the PC, but do not connect the hub's power plug to a wall outlet?

I think this is what you are saying in your first post, right?
