Hello forum ,
I have an ALiveNF6G-GLAN with American Megatrends Inc.
version P1.80

my sata controllers have failed, when i turn on my pc it fails to recognize the sata controllers if i enable them in bios then my pc crashes at boot (most of the time ) even with no hdds connected and also with them connected so i use ide drives , if i turn off sata controller in bios then pc boots ok
so my question is ,. if i was to reflash\update the bios would it fix my problem or do u think a new motherboard is needed
also what is the latest bios for this board , does anyone know ? ,.
thanx for any info , dont want to waste money on new board if bios can solve my prob ,. cheers
