will not oonnect to internet z87 extreme4

Just installed windows 7, used the cd to put all drivers on (was going to update them once I got on the internet with this computer) after that I still can't get connected to the internet. It says unidentified network. What needs to be done to get this fixed. I have searched but can't find anything on it for this board. Been in the Bios but not sure what I should be doing in there so I didn't change anything. I know the cable is good just used it yesterday on another computer and my how network is working fine. Any help would be appreciated.

If you haven't done this already, on the lower right part of the Task Bar, find the Network icon (looks like a monitor.) Right click it and open Network and Sharing Center. Click on Set Up a new connection or network. Just follow the prompts to create a home network.

You should also open Device Manager, open Network adapters and check that the Intel I217V device is working correctly.
