  • LSI controller intialization

    Hello,
Is there a way to speed up LSI controller boot time on ASrock Z87 extreme 11? It takes almost a minute for the LSI stuff to initialize itself for every boot or start up of computer. This motherboard promises boot up so fast that I won't be able to see "press F2 or del to enter bios".

    Re: LSI controller intialization

I've speed up the boot time. Here is how:

SSDs in Raid 10 were moved from LSI (SAS connectors) to sata connectors. Had to set up raid again and then clean install win7. Then ctrl+c to enter LSI setup and change driver to OS only enable, then change in UEFI BIOS bootable LSI to none. Now I get to win7 login under half a minute. One other SSD I have on SAS shows up in my computer and appears to be working fine.
