I need to add firewire to this board. What is the best way to go about this?

The best way, or really the only way?

Add on cards for Firewire exist and are pretty cheap, but are either PCI or PCIe interface cards. Since your board has one PCIe slot and no PCI slots, a PCIe card would work, assuming you don't have another card in the PCIe x16 slot now.
