onboard HD audio disconnect

Hello everyone!!!I have a mobo asrock 990 extreme fx 9, the audio is enabled in the bios, but I have no audio output, when I connect the speaker cable I have no sound, my specs,
Asrock Extreme9 FX 990
CPU Amd FX 8350 4gz
Amd Ati Firepro V4900 1gb
32gb Ram
windows 8 64bit ,

Is this a new PC you just built?

Are you using the speaker jack on the board's IO panel?

Did you install the Realtek high definition audio driver ver:6873 driver from your board's download page?

Did you open the Windows Sound option in Control Panel and configure your audio source? Or the Realtek audio controls which will also be listed in Control Panel?

Your video card also has audio, you may need to choose which one to use.

Thanks for replied, finally the technician checked onboard sound card and it was physically broken, then I bought a new-brand and it works!!! anyway many thanks for your reply,
