H170M Pro4 XMP Support

Hi guys,


I am new to how XMP works. I have a ASROCK H170M Pro4 Motherboard and 2x 8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400 Mhz Module (CMK16GX4M2A2400C14R) which has XMP2.0 profiles as per the Corsair website.


I am having problems getting the XMP2.0 to work and the memory modules only operate at 2133Mhz currently. There is just simply no option for me to choose XMP2.0 Profile in the BIOS screen


Any help would be appreciated to help to get the memory operating at 2400Mhz or the XMP profiles to work

Your ram has probably a XMP profile for 2400 MHz only. But the H170 chip set on your motherboard supports ram speeds up to 2133 MHz only. So, the xmp profile won't work on your setup and the option in BIOS is disabled.
