I've been having problems with my N53SV recently, and decided to reformat. I wasn't sure if the option using the Recovery Partition was available to me, so I pressed F9 and confirmed that it was there. I cancelled then because there was still something I wanted to do on the laptop, and now that I'm ready to reformat it, it won't work. When I logged on, I saw the R drive was accessible, and I used Disk Manager to hide it again.
When I press F9 now, the option doesn't appear - the only thing I get is the choice to boot Windows 7, or run Windows Memory Diagnostic. When I press F8 and go to the 'Repair your computer' option, there isn't any option to restore my laptop - and now I'm not sure what to do.
Please help.
