can not update bios

hi

my mb is: p35-ds3l

i'm tryng to update the bios with "bios" utill but the program says:
"unknown flash type or bios write protection"
the operation system is win xp pro,
it's worked for me before in vista !

any ideas?

pcb version will showen in your mb near PCI slot.
can you see that?

and what tool yu use for update BIOS?

pcb version is: 1

"bios" utill version is: 1.21

i also try other version, still got thr problem

Did you use @bios to update bios, or using QFlash?

ok, i found the problem,
in the bios setup there is an option :"bios protection" it shuld be in "auto" mode, and it let you update the bios
