E3110 is the same as E8400 if you was looking for a newer one, the rest of the new xeons, quads and such will be out shortly

Yup, I have seen that floating around and lot of people have them. I thought Xeons where designed to do different computations than the desktop series but apparently, if that is true with the Xeon wolfdales, there isn't much of a difference between the two.

What quads are you talking about? Don't all of the 45nm cores run off 771 socket?
