Yeap, that is what I wanted. But A picture would have been better.

Those do look fine so you should be able to manually enter them with the 333 strap

Ahh F9 eh, well F10 is still in beta, up to F10g now. It does say improves memory performance though, so it must be something they are working on. Maybe that is why you are having issues with F9.

Might have to wait, or try older BIOS's if you havent already.

But in the end, you should probably wait till you get your ram in

hey LSD i tried some of these settings except with 266 instead of 333because im not over clocking with th ep45 ds3l (thats similar right?) and in cpu id only the memory has changed to 533mhz. but the ram spd still shows 400 mhz?

Ya, same board only less quality in the board and chipset.

SPD will always show the same values. Those are only what is programmed into the Chip

If you are using CPU-z to look at this then you need to see the memory tab only to check ram speed/main timings

              LSD,

              Are you still around?
It's been about 6 months since I got this rig running, and just updated Bios to F10. Also had a huge RAID issue which I posted here, but solved that. (well sort of, recovered all my files, and scraped the raid)
Anyway, Just wondering if all the info you gave me 6 months ago should hold true for F10? Also, I did put in that extra 4gig of RAM, so now its 4x2gig.

I'd like to get a bit more than 3.0Ghz out of my 2.4Ghz chip.

Any help would once again be most appreciated.
