Hi,
I just got an EP45-DS4, and it's working great in Intrepid (Ubuntu 8.10).
However, even though I can read thermal sensors (4 CPU Cores, HD, graphic card), I can't get any information about the voltages with sensors (it just returns the core temperatures, whereas it should return everything).
Also, I noticed that the slowest speed I can get with a Vendetta in PWM mode is 1300RPM, while in voltage mode it goes down to 500RPM. Is there a reason to prefer PWM mode? In voltage mode, I can read the fan speed in the bios, but is there a possibility to get that information in the OS?
I'd also be interested to know how I can get DES working in Linux, since I didn't see anything in the bios about activating it.
Then, I can't get past 450FSB with a Q9550 rev. C1. I noticed that when I change the VCore manually (even for undervolting at stock speed) the voltage showed in the bios (PC Health Status) doesn't always change.
Thanks
