I haven't account on mediafire, I used the free and anonymous. So I will create an account.
Nice! Sorry, I didn't know they even offered anonymous uploads, so that's why I thought it sounded odd you couldn't upload. I've had an account for years, so I didn't even think of non-account uploads.
Pm coming your way on that newer AHCI ROM and Z68!
Note: Disable Marvell controller (GSATA) to get full performance with RST.
Thanks so much! This RAID ROM allows all 6 SSDs to be reported correctly, as opposed to the original F7 version which only shows 4 of them.
Two quick questions:
- My optical drive is on the Marvell controller as I have used all 6 Intel ports for the SSDs in RAID0 - how much performance loss are we talking with the GSATA left enabled?
- Can I disable the Intel AHCI 1.20e BIOS from initializing upon bootup? It takes around 10 seconds to detect all the drives then doesn't install the AHCI BIOS anyway...

If your optical drive is on the Marvell controller you can't boot on it (I am sure for EFI mode).
During my test if GSATA is enable you will get some freeze during disk access (my experience, with nothing connected to Marvell GSATA).
I don't think you can disable Intel AHCI from initializing, may be some other guys can confirm it.

If you are using RAID Mode, I'm pretty sure you can remove the AHCI ROM altogether (or load one that you know fails), that would solve that issue!
I mean I've booted to RAID arrays with failed AHCI ROM's inserted into a BIOS, see my testing of that mentioned here while playing with another related issue
I also have done it over the past night or so while playing with the AHCI ROM too, so I don't think it's needed at all unless you are actually using it
<s>Intel RAID ROM >> 11.5.0.1111
Intel AHCI ROM >> 1.20_E.0027 03/23/2010
Realtek LAN >> 2.45
Marvell >> BIOS Version 1.0.0.1033 / Firmware 2.2.0.1125
After flash is complete, shut down fully and switch off PSU, wait one minute and clear CMOS. Then turn on, boot to BIOS and load optimized and save/apply/reboot back to the BIOS. Once in the BIOS again set AHCI settings and Marvell Firmware mode to "Force", then save/apply/reboot and let it load through to windows, before that happens Marvell Firmware will update and board will reboot.

Qflash Checksum = 4300 = IE Tested and working!

Yes, but that is often times problematic for some users, plus sometimes BIOS Marvell option is set to force by default so it would get overwritten.
I often don't update anyway, newer is not always better, and actually there is one older one that is faster than all new ones.
FYI Manus, see above, AHCI ROM fails for P67A-UD3P-B3. For me anyway, tried the mod twice, bat and manual, no luck but UD7 mod is fine now, so I think that;s just another incompatible board?
If you try it out, and it works for you let me know, thanks!
