Then it's a USER ISSUE. Why do you assume I didn't ? The truth is I had a screenshot of CPU-Z on my HD but Tweaktown refused to have it uploaded for no apparent reason, so I am trying again. Currently using F14b with VirtualFred's mod and iRST SATA RAID option ROM 13.1 modded in by myself.
Looks like someone else overlooked something there. Either did not know how to set the multipliers by typing the numbers in or just not knowing that the memory multiplier needs to be reduced because it is linked to the BCLK.
ALSO, I ran Cinebench 11.5 CPU test. The result was 8.45 at 102.33x43 and 8,42 at 125x35! At par with my old results.
Any whisper for a new official bios for GIGABYTE Z87X-UD4H v1.0? I'm with F8b right now,it is a good release, pretty stable,BUT it lacks three things: adaptive voltage,BCLK 100 and PCI-E Spread Spectrum ''disabled'' option (why Gigabyte insist to keep this ''enabled'' whithout giving the possibility to disable in the bios,is a mistery to me...). I know that is a new beta bios for my mobo (like F8c,i think),but i wait for an final F9.
Stasio, can you feedback to Gigabyte about those 3 missing features to be implemented in a future release, please? Thanks!
Thank you stasio
I haven't had the time to test until now but it solved my issue.
My GA-P965-DS4 did not want to boot with my Promise TX4310 Controller Card, it just stopped with a black screen when the TX4310 bootrom was suppose to load.

-adaptive voltage:
set CPU Vcore to "Normal"
-BCLK 100
set CPU Base Clock to "Manual" (100MHz)....Auto set to 99.78MHz...(Use CPU-Z 1.64.0)
-Spread Spectrum
Why you want to disable?...just leave on "Auto"....(probably is the reason that all Z87 boards has same options)
But,if i set cpu voltage to ''normal'',that can make my I5 4670K @4,2 ghz overclock idle to 0,75 v,right? That can be to lower for 4,2 ghz,i guess? Now i have manually dialed in 1,13v for 4,2 ghz ,turbo auto and EIST/C-States disabled. I gotta tweak some offset further or static 1,13vcore is OK-ish for daily-use (i have very good temps with NOCTUA NH-D14)?... I know this is not the right thread to get advices for overclocking, but please let me know some things about that
Thank you!
