Hello all! I've tested the F21e Bios for X79-UD3 and for the first time ever windows reports my correct overclock at 4.3ghz on the cpu instead of 5.6ghz.It seems stable enough but I think it would be better for Haswell-E owners as they support pci-e 3.0 natively.Gigabyte has fixed that issue with this bios once you install the graphics driver, provided your bios is set at either Auto or Pci-e 3.0, the board will automatically set itself to run at 3.0.With my cpu I still have to use the reghack.Just a heads up in case anyone was wondering.
What a joke. Z77x-UD4H now suffering from "amnesia", but still retains partial settings. It just happened out of the blue one day, for whatever reason, with completely normal/routine use.
Thanks for a crap product Gigabyte. I'm inclined to scramble and see if I can find any Z77 motherboards from other companies before they're all gone. Anything will be better than a board that randomly forgets most of its settings.
As for this piece of junk, I'll have to go and see just how "durable" it is. Forget this dumb company and their lousy products.
Original bios did not randomly reset, but had its own issues. F2h on their website has Alzheimer's.

As a wild guess: maybe the on board button battery needs replacement?
Qflash (latest @BIOS for X79) will be OK.
Changes/fixes are per BIOS (not always) posted here and mostly summary.....e.g. "Improve system compatibility".

i have a problem with my x99 gaming 5, i cannot change too xmp profil, i have 2800mhz ddr4 from corsair, when i change the too xmp pc is everytime rebooting, then the bios set back the changes too default and pc works fine...
For what it's worth the x99m F3 BIOS behaves like that with XMP1 also, although the F2 BIOS was fine with XMP1 and Corsair DDR4 RAM. So you could try a previous BIOS: they broke XMP this time, it seems.
