Hi
I am new, but do follow this thread since 3 weeks now. First I wish everybody a great and happy new year. I have bought a new system beginning of december including a x570 master (rev. 1.2), 5900x, 32 GB 3200 mhz cl14 DDR4, 2gb pcie4 m2 and a 3080 master. The RAM is from my old system using a 2700x and a x470 from MSI (never having any trouble with that old system).
I have to say this is the worst PC experience I had in 25 years building PCs, tested now all bios versions (including all the beta bios) in default and manual edited and non of them is stable in gaming. I get either rebots or WHEA errors. They are stable in idle and I can run forever benchmarks for cpu and gpu, but as soon as I start a 3d game an error sooner or later occurs! I do have no temperature issues whatsoever! I did dig in quit heavily and it seems that Gigabyte is mainly effected from the boardpartners, still also users utilizing boards from other brands are effekted. Now I am at the point to be really pissed, buying a high price MB to play betatester for gigabyte (and AMD) is not my "job". I can accept that with OC it would be my problem, but in default mode (even not using XMP) the system has to work. If this is not solved soon I will send this junk of a Board back to GB with a nice comment and buy another brand and never ever buy again anythink from GB. I have several friends, not to speak of all the members in my usal PC forum in germany, having similar systems (without a GB MB) without any problems. GB is now a jok already there because of all the customers having trouble, one of the founders even said he has a x570 extreme but never uses it because it is so badly supported.
Sorry I do not really want to be so pissed, infact I hope somebody can help me fix this, because I originally bought the x570 master because is was mainly reviewed positive (when it came out). As I said tested all bios versions, some are more stable than other. So far, 31j and the "final" 31 were best. So somebody know what settings need to be set to have it stable?
