I have an X570 Aorus Master board and I am perfectly happy with it once it is up and running (F31 fully stable, no WHEA), my problem has been that after I shutdown for a few hours when I cold boot my BIOS keeps resetting / switching to backup. Appears to get stuck on code 05 (Unknown / Not Listed) before it finally gives up and resets the bios. Anyone have a clue on how to fix this? I've been trying to fix since I got the board.
Not sure if you mean the F31 recent beta release, or the F31 "fully stable" that was pulled from the site a week or so ago due to issues. Others had the same cold boot problem, including myself with the old F31 that was pulled, and seems it was memory stability issues. F31q has been running stable for me, without seeing this cold boot issue anymore. I havent tried the new F31 that was posted a few days ago though, given F31q has been stable.

I mean the F31 currently posted in the OP (Date 12/31/2020 Reported In Q-Flash). However, I've had this cold boot issue even with F30 and all of the various F31 beta bios I have tried. I've tried enable / disable CSM, enable / disable ErP, enable / disable XMP, etc. that I've seen reported in other places but no luck with a resolution yet. I can restart my PC all day but once I turn it off and go to sleep for the night it won't boot correctly in the morning.
stasio New Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro v1 BIOS version F11 just posted on the website. It's different from the F12 you posted couple days ago. Do you have any info?

Yea, suddenly yesterday posted new F11.
I just got now in my my folder.
All other B550 F11 BIOSes are dated 2?020/12/31. Only Aorus Pro one is dated 2?021/01/04. Compared by content to the F12 you posted it seems it not just a F12 renamed to the F11 to match others.

Ah ok. I was having that same issue on all bios revisions until F31q. My memory for reference is gskill flarex 3200c14 8gbx2, that I'm currently just running XMP, but with a bit more DRAM voltage (1.40v) to help stability. Hopefully the new 1.1.9.0 AGEGA is a bit more stable. Other than that, I have ErP enabled, CSM support disabled, and llc set to turbo.
Hello Stasio i'm from Overclock.net forums. Same username. I heard there is newer than T40e that i am still testing for you with AGESA 1.9.0.0 if you want to send it to me when ready for beta testing.
As for CSM being slow it seems when it's off after adding favorites it becomes slower and slower. CSM on is definitely a lot faster. Also CSM off seems to be VGA resolution unlike CSM on. Is it possible to change this?
Additionally i have a question that you may have or be able to get an answer. Big story short since F11 with any bios a few games (PUBG and Cyberpunk) will crash the system randomly with black screen. Since the Windows 20H2 update you get an entry in event viewer called: "WHEA Cache Hierarchy Error". Quite a few people have this issue if you search on the web.
After much testing it seems i've isolated the problem towards the CPU Vcore voltage. I've changed from AUTO to NORMAL with +0.05V offset which solves the issue. However i've noticed the Vcore VID behavior is much different than with the setting in AUTO. Thus i am testing with NORMAL and 0 offset now. Do you know what exactly AUTO option does? Because it seems AUTO ? NORMAL and it's causing problems.
