Still having cold boot issues on my X570 Aorus Master and 5800X - doesn't seem to matter the BIOS (tried F30 through F32A). Works great once it's up and running. I have a replacement Master board coming from Amazon later this week, will see if its just my board or if it will react the same.

This is something different and seem to be hard capped, regardless of how much you set PBO override at.
In the meanwhile, a friend has confirmed me it's not a specific Gigabyte issue, since he has the same exact behavior on his ASUS MB.

Hi, another one here interested in the newer AGESA for B550 Aorus Master when available please!
While I'm writing, would also appreciate some outside opinions. My knowledge of AMD systems was minimal until I built two new machines over the Christmas break - always been Intel previously.
tl;d;r I'm regularly getting WHEA errors on desktop machine during extended gaming sessions that point to faulty CPU, but it otherwise appears rock solid. Should I send it for RMA - newer BIOS might 'solve' the issue, but by 'hiding' the faults of the CPU? And are my RGB RAM problems related to the BIOS or do I need a new board?
Long version:
1st machine, Home server (B550 Aorus Elite AX V2, 5600X, 2x32GB 3200Mhz ECC RAM) has been rock solid, barring one BSOD when I hadn't updated the Realtek NIC driver after initial install. Running F11p and seeing no real reason to change at the moment.
2nd Machine, Desktop/Gaming system (B550 Aorus Master, 5900X + Noctua D15, 2x16GB 3600Mhz RGB RAM) has a few issues. Everything is at stock as not fussed about overclocking, just want a solid dependable system. Set to defaults when upgrading BIOS, then tweak only a few settings (such as Power Off after 4 seconds). Issues have been the same on F11p->F11->F12, although F11p had CPU fan ramping I no longer notice as much. Somewhere along the way measurements in benchmarks have dropped a little, but not worried about that right now.
I routinely get BSOD/Black screen after 25-45 minutes of playing Division 2. It's usually WHEA-Logger, Error Source: Machine Check Exception, Error Type: Bus/Interconnect Error. For the last BSOD, I also had a separate Cache Hierarchy Error event at the exact same time, but on a different APID ID. Errors happen on a variety of APID IDs (0, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11).
I have tried to drill into the MEMORY.DMP files I've managed to pull; I'm somewhat out of my depth, but they generally seem to be pointing to processor issue. Otherwise, the system won't crash - I've left it running Folding@Home, Cinebench R20/R23 and CPU-Z stress test for extended periods (according to HwINFO, all-core during stress test averages 4.36Ghz across them all), and it will not fault. Haven't tried many other games but an extended session of Assassin's Creed Odyssey had no issues. I've tried memory tests (found no issues with RAM or VRAM), swapping the RAM with the server (also failed in the same way), and putting the GPU back into old system (no failure). Previous replies and posts elsewhere talk about similar errors at low load, but I'm not seeing that, only when playing Division 2 (same GPU on old system, I can play for hours with the same graphics settings).
At this point, I've got an open RMA with AMD (I just need to pull the processor and post it off), but I'm also contemplating swapping the motherboard.
Other issues I have (more relevant to this topic as I suspect they're BIOS-related):- My RGB RAM can be seen by RGB Fusion, but it can't change its settings (they default to rapid cycling the colours, and go out of sync). The Crucial software can't change it at all either. Additionally, the RGB doesn't turn off when the system sleeps/hibernates - I have to switch it off at the wall.
- The LCD debug display never turns off - shouldn't this turn off after a successful boot?
- Is my BSOD crashing likely to be a faulty CPU, or the motherboard/BIOS? I've checked with AMD and there is stock to replace the CPU without a long wait (as said above I'd just need to post it off, I have a return label ready), but other than the BSOD it seems like a really stable chip and appears to clock fairly well(?). I'd hate to RMA it, only to end up with an inferior chip that still has the same issue. If 1.2.0.0 beta/alpha is available I'd be keen to test this with it before sending it for replacement.
- What's going on with my RAM? I've read RGB Fusion isn't great software, but the fact it doesn't even turn off when hibernating suggests BIOS issues to me? Or do I need a new motherboard?
- Having researched it, it sounds like the LCD debug doesn't actually ever turn off, by design. Could this hypothetically be controlled by the BIOS in future (e.g. set it to turn off after X seconds of a successful boot)? Or should I consider swapping to a cheaper board that doesn't have it? I went for the Master, but the Elite AX V2 has better on-board LED and no debug LCD - almost tempted to swap the server board for the desktop, except the audio's not as good!
P.S. If of interest for those struggling with Realtek NIC: Desktop is using Wifi, but on the server I'm using the NIC as it's a Hyper-V host. Driver version 10.39.212.2020. Had to change a few settings to get it working nicely with the virtualisation (a known issue apparently to do with interrupt offloading):
Advanced EEE - disabled, ARP Offload - disabled, Energy-Efficient Ethernet - disabled, Gigabit lite - disabled, Green Ethernet - disabled, Interrupt Moderation - disabled, NS offload - disabled.
I think the main change for getting VMs working correctly was disabling Interrupt Moderation, but ended up fiddling with the others while trying to ensure it was reliable.

This is weird. Somewhere along the way, it appears that the USB 3.2 port of my B550M Aorus Pro-P stopped working at USB 3 speeds with my Oculus Quest 2 and link cable - it was detected at USB 2.0 speeds. I used the 3.2 port with the Quest 2 fine a few weeks ago but switched to the other 3.0 ports to play around with some settings. Only change between then and now was the BIOS update from F11p to F12, both official releases on the Gigabyte support page. Does the USB 3.2 port work fine for anyone else running F12 BIOS on an Aorus Pro-P?

Warning Some of beta BIOSes are still undergoing compatibility testing. GIGABYTE is sharing these BIOSes for testing purposes only and are not meant for general release. If you are not familiar with beta BIOS testing, then please only flash the recommended release BIOSes that are posted on the GIGABYTE website, as only release
