you cant disable that, its just the way the board is,try setting hdd delay to 0 in the bios though if you havnt already, ill have to timemine to see how many seconds it takes from pressing power button to getting into windows,i think anything from 30seconds to 1min is normal

my SSDs speed went down too! also i did use FC2 before FC4 and my marvell controller was updated both time, the FC2 was an increase in speed, while fc4 was a decrease. Anyone else getting the same results? There was also another update to marvell controller with fc4. So 2x marvell updates, first one is faster second one is very slow?
If you want to flash back to older firmware, flash back the older BIOS and then set the 6Gb/s Firmware selection in the BIOS on FORCE and it will flash it back.
I ended up doing that after FC5 and FC5 modded was no go just like FC4 and FC4 modded. FC2 and FC2 modded seem to have the same SATA3 marvell performance. I just hope in the final FC bios that gigabyte incorporates the faster one.
I can probably put it into any BIOS you want, I'd have to look though but I'm pretty sure I can.
Of course it would be up to you to risk the flash, but I wouldn't give it to you if I had any issues during the change-out.
If you want me to try send me a PM with a link to the exact BIOS you want the firmware taken out of, and an exact link to the one you want it inserted into.
Hello guys
I ran into some problems with my SSD. So, I have 2 HDDs in RAID(OS installed on them) and one storage disk Western Digital.
I bought a SSD and installed OS on it. When I got into windows, it did not recognize the HDDs in RAID.
Is it possible for he HDDs and the SSD to work on the same controller and if yes, what should I do?
Then I tried to boot from the RAID but I received an error "KCQUH is missing".
