Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
May wait for beta with upgraded microcode then... doesn't want to play with UBU still!
also right MPX was disabled because I enabled Hyper-V and it's a known limitation..
so seems Speed Shift is all remaining to be enabled in BIOS..
Also even SGX reports HWINFO enabled this may be only CPUID support not complete BIOS support according to https://github.com/ayeks/SGX-hardware
I have compiled the simple test there and I'm getting exactly the output supposed with no BIOS support:
SGX is available for your CPU but not enabled in BIOS
<code>...
Extended feature bits (EAX=07H, ECX=0H)
eax: 0 ebx: 29c6fbf ecx: 0 edx: 0
sgx available: 1
CPUID Leaf 12H, Sub-Leaf 0 of Intel SGX Capabilities (EAX=12H,ECX=0)
eax: 0 ebx: 0 ecx: 0 edx: 0
sgx 1 supported: 0
sgx 2 supported: 0
MaxEnclaveSize_Not64: 0
MaxEnclaveSize_64: 0
...
so F7k BIOS is only enabling the CPUID SGX flag but not complete BIOS support..
doubt that complete BIOS support it's only a microcode update and seems works remaining to Gigabyte BIOS..
