    I have a gigabyte ep43 DS3L, core 2 duo e8400, kingston 4 gig 1066C5

    I have tried everything had vcore past 1.4 and up all the other voltages.

    I have not really set much up with the ram the only thing i have change is the timing to the correct timings which is 55515

    The board bios is f7 i think it got shipped with f8 because i flashed it to see if it would work better i am not sure which bios is best to go with.
    I need help setting up all my bios settings and to be able to get 4 ghz it never posts???
    Core i7 C0, gigabyte UD3R x58 mobo, corsair 6gb DDR3 1333 memory, corsair 750W HX psu, asus xonar dx sound card, WD 500gb 32mb cache hdd.

    You might check out this thread, particularly page 5:



    I posted my settings for a stable 4.0ghz there. You may need a little more or less vcore than I used but you shouldn't need 1.4 for 4Ghz. Pay attention to the other voltages like Termination, PLL and MCH core. It's a different motherboard but it might help you for now.
