    Re: Gigabyte P45-DS4P problem

Are you using the ET6 version that came with the mobo CD?
Download the latest version from the GB website, and make sure that you download the correct version for Vista 64bit.

Uninstall your current version of ET6 and then install the new version.

        Re: Gigabyte P45-DS4P problem

A forum search on: ET6 or easytune might help. I've seen a few cases where a few others have also had similar problems.

I believe that the first time you run ET6, the default is to auto-load at windows startup. If you then manually start ET6, it might not work with 2 instances running at the same time. The next time you start your system, check the taskbar and see if it's already running. If the ET6 icon is already in the system tray, all you have to do is double click the icon to run it.

Let us know how you make out.

ps: I think that I detect an Austrailian accent in your post.

            Re: Gigabyte P45-DS4P problem

When you're in the Gigabyte forum, there are several STICKIES at the top of the list. There's a lot of good info that relates to overclocking, stability testing and more.

Feel free to post any questions or issues that may come up. Lucky for you that we don't charge for help based on kilobytes X distance.

Thanks for your feedback, now I know what the ET6 issue/fix is, at least for now.
