  • Question about PCI and PEG settings for graphics card??

    Hello all,

I noticed the other day that in the BIOS I had the PCIe sot where my graphics card installed was set to PCI in the BIOS. I didn't notice before but there is a setting that is "PEG" and the definition is "for PCIe Graphics cards".

I was hesitant to change anything since the system was running great, should I leave it or change it to PEG?

    Thanks for the help.

    I have a EP45-UD3P running a EVGA GTX285 SSC.

    Thanks folks!

It should be set to PEG for PCI Express slot one and or PEG2 if your board has two PCIE slots and you are using the second one

        Lsdmeasap,

Thanks for the response, will I need to do anything additional? I have the UD3P with a PhysX card in the second slot, still set them to PEG?? Thanks for the info!
