    Greetings
    Just popped in,got this board going
    Swapped out a P5Q
    A couple questions if I might
    The dmi pooling dos screen at Start stays I guess?
    looks lke it checks usb,controller stuff,smart drive etc
    gives info then lists the DMI thingy below with a few dots, then boots into Vista
    Also if not using any IDE how do you disable the ide on the board or do you not worry 'bout that?
    Using all satas hd's including the optical dvd roms
    2 of each in yellow board sata plugs
    non ahci

    1.Yeh it stays,If you change your fsb/memspeed/cpu etc and it posts successfully it will show DMI update success" yeehah etc.
    2.Just leave enabled

      I kind of figured that,but had to ask, when I made a change in cmos\bios it looked like an update occured on that dmi dos type screen.
