Can help me on how to overclock it step by step?
Maybe just the basic and see how it goes slowly.

    Hopefully to go 3.4Ghz.

      Re: Overclocking E7300 on EP-43-UD3L - Help!

The bios settings you posted that you are using now seem incorrect.

I mean the cpu 266x10 and then cpu ref frequency of 333mhz.

If its really 333mhz x 10 then you are already at 3.33 Ghz cpu and raising cpu ref to 340mhz would give you 3.4
      Current Systems:

      Asrock p67 Extreme6.............. Gigabyte EP-45 UD3 ...................... Gigabyte 73 PVM S2
      Intel i5 2500k 4.8ghz................ Intel Q8400 3.8ghz......................... Intel D820 2.8ghz
Zalman 10x cooler.................... Coolermaster V8............................ HP cooler
      8GB Gskill ripjaw ddr3.............. 4GB Gskill PI ddr2.......................... 4GB samsung ddr2
      60GB ssd/500GB HDD .............. WD 1TB hdd.................................... Seagate 160GB hdd
      GTX 460 1GB x2 SLI ................. Msi 9600GT 512MB(died) ........... Onboard gx
      Win7 64 ,750w psu(ocz)............ Win7 64 ,520w psu,seasonic...... Win XP pro ,400w psu

HEC 6A34 case . ....................... Jeantec R2 case............................ Packard Bell case

        Ok.
Other than that, the rest no need to adjust?

Assuming those are the bios settings you are using ,and everything works well/stable under load at 3.4,the only things I would be trying are.
1.Slightly different advanced memory timings, perhaps even see if "turbo" setting for memory will work ok.Then do some bandwidth tests.
2.Did you have to increase the ICH v,a lot of hdd's?
3.I like to have enhanced halt on for 24/7 running.
4.Me personally id try for 3.5Ghz on cpu and see how it went, but I dont really know the cpu, how hot it gets etc.
The only thing is if you raise the cpu ref to 350 the memory speed will go up to around 840mhz at 2.4 multiplier ,which is fine as long as it runs ok.
