  • Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R and HyperX

I need help setting the bios for my memory and cpu.

    Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R bios ver f7
    CPU - Q9300
    Ram - Kingston Hyperx - KHX8500D2T1K2/4G
    GPU - 9800GT
    700 watt Power supply
    Sycthe Zipang Cooler
    Vista Ultimate 64bit

I have been running the system about a month stock no overclock.
Everything works great temps all ok.
I have been messing with ET6 and seeing some benefits.

What I want to do is to set everything in bios to get the best safe usage for my system.

If some one can give the bios settings it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for any and all help

    Re: Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R and HyperX

post your bios settings and folks might have suggestions on things to change.
I can post mine if you want to try a 7 multiplier on the cpu .
Quads dont seem to be too happy above 510-515 fsb on air.

2.40 is the lowest multiplier on the board i think, aside from (1:1).
    so 440 mhz fsb/cpu ref speed,2:40 B multiplier(1056 memspeed)
    cpu 3.52 Ghz(x8 multiplier)
cpu volts 1.39375v in bios llc enabled
    mch core 1.4v in bios
dram timing put in what ever it says for 1066 on your memory (5-5-5-15) or whatever.
Dram voltage ,if it says 2.1 v put in 2.12.
    Leave everything else on auto.
Fire it up n see what happens.
Without U posting a bios template and the settings you use now, thats about the max suggestion u will get.
Oh and no guarantees it will boot .
