Isn't this it: (In HWMonitor I thought it was, "TEMPIN0". And in Everest, "Motherboard". For Everest you go Tools/ System Stability Test/ Statistics Tab.)

          Re: northbridge temps

39c minimum like me, or less, is prob fine. And I do 55c Max when gaming and I never crash. When I had an 8800GTX it was much worse on my North Bridge temps. With 8800GTX I never got below 50c. The 8800GTX was pushing hot air on my north bridge whereby the GTX295 manages the air flow perfectly for me. My MOBO could not have had the North Bridge put in a worse position when it comes to an 8800GTX.

            Re: northbridge temps

            oh my god!!!!

i just ran everest and after 17 min it frozeup or locked up on a stability test,i did not know how to get out of it i tried everything let it keep on running but could not shut it down.

            so i did somthing stupid

I HIT reset, never do this (I DONT KNOW WHAT I WAS THINKING)

would not bootup after this stupid move

had to hit reset button on the back of my motherboard, reset bios button

now it seems ok but lost all my saved overclocks in board memory

if everest locks up what do i do?

              Let me get this straight.

              A. You reset CMOS while running Everest Stress test. NO WAY! I dont believe that one bit. Did not happen. :(

              B. You hit the restart button on the front of your computer case. Right? This I believe. :)

So it was "B". Right killer454?

I think that Everest freezing means that you need to tweak your profiles. Stability is what OCing is all about. Maybe it was good you lost them. I can do anything, ANYTHING and my PC will not freeze, crash, BSOD, etc. it is so stable.

                    1. Start a new Post called, "Rebuilding Profiles From Scratch". And get the most stable system ever.

                    2. Add a signature with all your Hardware included. Copy mine and replace stuff with yours. I copied mine from somebody at nVNews Dot Com. ;)

Yeh, sry, I missed two posts of yours.

And I mistakenly thought you didn't start this thread. So stick here.

You know how to add a sig? From your Tweak Town control Panel?

I wanna see what hardware you have.

                        K?
