This is just such a Dream Case for Over Clocking and at a great price. I've been hunting to no avail forever. If your like me and always invested in the hardware and not in cosmetics or in "future proofing", then your tearing your hair out trying to ignore this deal.

I wonder how much power these fans require? If I need a new PSU because of them, I may have put it off.

But aren't these fans alone, worth $50?

Five removable HDD racks with anti-vibration Pads for easy assembly and reduce noise.

But aren't these five removable HDD racks alone, worth $75 for what you might normally be forced to get?

The best cable management too.

I've always believed that investing in a case comes last. So I'm trapped.

Oh well, I'll take my time reading all the reviews and decide 24 hours before the end of the sale (05/06/2009).

It would be nice to have something other than a generic case for the first time. And the Idle temperatures are enough to justify getting it . (Plus, the coming Summer Temperatures, are just around the corner!)

Yes or no?

I say yes!

And hopefully somebody that was just about to invest in an inferior case at a higher price, will see this post too.

I've been very happy with my CoolerMaster CM 690 case (RC-690-KKN1-GP). With 7 case fans (4 of them are 140mm fans) air flow is not a problem. Right now I'm running Prime95 and the total power consumption is 169 watts, using a 500 watt 80+ psu.

It looks like the HAF 932 steps it up several levels.

My backup system is housed in an Enermax Chakra case that has two 120mm fans and a 250mm side case fan. I'm a firm believer in large, lower rpm case fans.

If I'd noticed the case in your sig before, I would have got one already.;) It has all I want. The removable HDD trays, the good cable management, the PSU mounts at the bottom etc..

I'll have to add it to my wish list. I think that it is a must have. If only, with the combined shipping costs, it wasn't so expensive I get it instead now. (Usually $117 with shipping.)

But right now... the price is like $15 off and at $70. (+$22 Shipping=$92 Total.)

So even with the $15 off; thanks to the shipping costs for a CM 690 (RC-690-KKN1-GP) (like you have); and the free shipping of an HAF 932 (RC-932-KKN1-GP); the difference of only $33 ($125-$92=$33)... means I'm screwed and have no other choice but to get one (an HAF 932 (RC-932-KKN1-GP)). Man I got it bad.;)

I too am lusting after the HAF 932, I want it but I certainly don't need it.

My case.... absatively, posilutely no regrets, but ...
My four SlipStreamer 140mm fans cost $15 each = $60 additional.
120mm or even 90mm fans can be used without modifying the case.
If I wanted to cool the underside of the mobo underneath the cpu,
I could buy an 80 mm, 15mm thick fan, a standard 25mm thick fan won't fit.
I added one extra 120mm fan on the bottom of my case.
I use two fan controllers to manually set fan speeds.
Some of the tallest cpu coolers (over 160mm tall) might not fit or they
might interfere with side case fans, same thing for some video card coolers.
Read the Newegg reviews, my case has some quirks, but nothing
worth giving it 4 "eggs" instead of 5.

HAF 932 - handles the larger atx-e (extended) mobos.
Has mucho bling and viewing windows.
Will be louder because of the three 230mm "holes" for the fans.
Has great flexibility for mounting different fans or a radiator.
It's a full tower case vs my large mid-tower case.
The current Newegg promo plus free shipping make it awfully tempting!!

The bottom mount for the psu is excellent, but cable length can be an
issue, especially if you want to route the cables for maximum air flow.
This applies to any case with bottom psu mounting.

Like many products at Newegg, rebates periodically come and go,
as does free shipping. As I recall, my delivered price for my RC 690 was
under $55 after MIR and included free shipping.

Addendum: With my dual Scythe S-Flex fans on my cppu cooler,
I think that I've run out of fingers to count all my fans.
Call me a fanboy.

The HAF 920 includes an (8Pin) connector Extension Cable, but no (4Pin) connector Extension Cable like I might need. Here's one I found at NewEgg: (4Pin) connector Extension Cable

SilverStone FP33 - well made 3-fan controller (about $25)
Zalman** ZM-MFC2 controller, watt meter & temp probes<-- good unit but pricey ($55 - $60)

Fan Controllers @ Newegg - many have so-so ratings.

Researching Fan controllers should be fun too. Especially knowing I can just get the SilverStone FP33 for $25 ProfJim suggested. And what a great excuse to venture into the local Fry's Electronics.

And the last-a-long-time theme reminds me oddly enough that I can shop for Liquid Cooling technology because this case is made for it. Whereas with my existing cases; well Liquid cooling is just out of the question. Plus, a perfect clause- and trumps the Pony-Keg compartment completely-
to contradict my personal absolutely-no-future-proofing-allowed policy!


Dude, this case is sounding better all the time.
