  • CPU Voltage spike during OCCT test

I noticed it went up to 3.6 volts momentarily... Is that serious?
    Thanks

Re: CPU Voltage spike during OCCT test

Well id sure call that a voltage spike. if the reading is accurate and it was like 1.8 v+ more than momentarily.
Voltage spikes ,at least in relation to occt are supposed to be lessened by tweaking mch v.
They usually only show in the 3v and 4 volt graphs tho.
    Was llc enabled btw>?.

Re: CPU Voltage spike during OCCT test

There's no way that voltage spike is real. Erronious reading IMO. Repeat another test with OCCT using the same settings and see if it appears again.

Re: CPU Voltage spike during OCCT test

I see this in OCCT sometimes as well, but only since I went to the latest versions. No way is it real. Spike to 3+ V and the CPU is still alive? I highly doubt it.

I ran it again, and it was fine... Scared the crap out of me though.

Re: CPU Voltage spike during OCCT test

I've noticed occasional random voltage spikes or dips with OCCT v3.01.
              Not a problem for me.
I did notice that its built-in monitoring function accurately tracks my EP45-UD3P 12 volt readings correctly. Now if the other monitoring programs could only do the same.
