    How do you check chipset driver version?

    Hey everyone. First post here.

    Wow, this forum is bigger than i thought it was! Looks like plenty of help around here.

    My question. I just did a fresh install of Vist 64 on a brand new 500gb HD. I run the GA-MA790GP-DS4H board. I downloaded the newest chipset drivers but when i installed them i didn't see much action going on. I want to check to see that the driver went to the right location.

    How do i check whick chipset version my mobo currently has?

    Have you checked the AMD website for tools or driver updates?
    Windows Device Manager, System Devices --> properties
    should show file versions and dates. On my Intel based system, I can view the properties of the listed devices.

    I'm not familiar with AMD systems, but there might be a program that will summarize your system's driver info, dates, and versions.
