  • X58-UD3R Won't shutdown....

Sorry if this has been asked before, but i cant find it....

Once i click shutdown on my new self-built rig, the PC shuts down as it should, power goes off, pc is quiet for 5 seconds or so, then restarts, nothing i can do will make the pc shutdown and stay off. Im running the 7a BIOS, so i can't BE more up-to-date.....

    i7 920
    6Gb GSkill Ram
    Nero Cooler
    Radeon 4850
    1.5Tb HDD

Can anyone help, its frustrating as hell.

      Re: X58-UD3R Won't shutdown....

Since i built it (2 months ago), everything else works spot on, it does it when running at stock, and still does it now im overclocked to 3.6Ghz.

Have done some research, and there seems a few cases of it happenign around and about.

Starting to think its a dodgy mobo, but i dont want to be messing around with taking it all apart and trying to RMA it.

      Grrrrrrr@technology!
