This is my config:
Case: Coolermaster 690 Dominator with 5120mm fans, Micro: AMD PHENOM II 955 X4 QUAD CORE 3.2GHZ BLACK EDITION AM3 BOX, CPU Fan: NOCTUA NH-U12P, ATi Radeon HD 4890, Ram: 2x2048 OCZ platinum DDR3 1600 Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-MA790XT-UD4P SOCKET AM3, HDD: WESTERN DIGITAL CAVIAR BLACK 640GB SATA2 MAESTRO + Maxtor SATA2 250 GB + Seagate 40GB IDE, Power source: CORSAIR TX 650W OS: Windows 7 and Vista 64
The problem I have is that everytime I do a cold boot the computer reboots in less than 5 minutes (usually in less than a minute) and the monitor is off. After pressing the reset button the system works perfect till the next day.
Bios is the last one f4g so that is not the issue
It is clearly not a software problem as the reboot has happened even inside bios or memtest86 process.
First I thought it was a Ram problem but after posting in OCZ forums they recommended me the following settings:
-Nb freq 2600MHz (x13)
-Ram freq 1333Mhz (x6.66)
-Ram volt 1.7V
-Cpu Nb vid volt +0.2V
7 hours of memtest gave no errors so Memory is stable.
I have tried other things I was suggested as:
1) Change the init display first to "PEG"
2) Change the tRFC to 160.
3) Increase the cpu-nb voltage a bit. I have mine at +0.2
4) Disable AMD CIE support
5) Disable coolnquiet
but no luck also.
Please do you have any idea how to solve this issue, or who should I contact?
Thanks in advance
