    Temperature readings... please help me understand

    Can someone explain what SYS/CPU/MCH temp readings in BIOS are really for?
    Also, in CPUID Hardware Monitor I see TMPIN0, TMPIN1, TMPIN2...
    My best guess from comparing BIOS readings is
    TMPIN0 = SYS
    TMPIN1 = CPU
    TMPIN2 = MCH
    No idea if that's right or not...

    Anyone help me out?
    What are the readings in BIOS for, and how do they correlate to HWMonitor?

    Some monitoring programs will display your temperatures using the correct name, such as Everst, HWmonitor, and SpeedFan. EasyTune6 (on the GB CD) should have the correct name for displayed voltages. It's best if you download the most recent version of ET6 from the GB website.

    I don't recommend leaving ET6 running all the time and you should disable the "start with windows" default setting. ET6 sometimes causes unexpected problems.
