  • Gigabyte EX58-UD5 Help needed please....

    Hi,

I have the i7 920 installed on my Gigabyte EX58-UD5. Running windows 7.

The cpu fan speed is always running at 100%. I have tried the different settings in the bios and in software using easytune but the fan speed remains on full.

My cpu temps are between 37-41 so surely the fan shouldnt be running at 100%.

I have tried 2 different fans and both are running the same.

The cooler I have is the Titan TTC-NK85TZ Fenrir.

I am thinking I might have a faulty motherboard but don't know how to test it.

    Anyone got any ideas?

      I have been using F7.

If I unplug the cpu fan and boot the computer should there be a warning bleep?

Yes, there should be if you have the warning enabled and a case speaker connected and working.

Try out F8c listed above or wait a day or so, as they will be soon releasing another beta I believe to correct an AHCI issue
