I am quite sure your router allows broadcast, it's easy to test.
Ping the broadcast address and with the snofer see it it arives in another.
What I am saying is that particular setup may not allow broadcast.

You don't have a predefined WOL in there?

Re: Need help for Wake On LAN, EP45-DS3R

I have found this in the manual of my router.

      Broadcast
A Broadcast is a data packet not directed to a particular recipient but to all the network
components in the network. The Gigaset SX551 WLAN dsl does not pass broadcast packets
on; they always remain within the local network (
      LAN) it administers.
Does this mean it can't broadcast a wol packet.

I haven't tried to ping my broadcast ip. Do i need to ping from another pc or can i use my own.

Yes routers do not pass broadcast packets in order not to poison other networks. What I understand is , it does not pass broadcasts to other networks it is connected, which is internet in this case. Local broadcasting should be possible. You should get detailed info from the manufacturer.

No, this means broadcast packets that are sent on the LAN are not sent to the WLAN.

You need to do it from another PC that is connected to your LAN, switch or wireless, doesn't matter.

If you select only UDP in the setup does it still not allow you to set broadcast IP as the target?
