Please forgive for dumb questions. I am new to this. I am planning to build my first computer. I have purchased an EP45-UD3P Rev.1.6 MB. and plan to use an Intel E8500 processor with OCZ DDR2 1066 Reaper 4 Gigabyte ram. The way the info. reads for the MB, it seems simple to overclock the processor. It says that Quick Boost provides 3 levels of performance enhancement and all you have to do is click on the level you want. Is this correct? Also how much trouble will it be to get the memory to 1066? I have the MB, the ram and a case. The rest of what I need will come. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

Re: EP45-UD3P Rev. 1.6 Question
I wouldn't advise using Quick Boost, and probably nobody over the forum would. It overvolts way to much. Indeed, the UD3P overclocks pretty well and easy. Wait till you get all the components, then post back here and you will get help. It's pretty much easy once you understand what each setting does.GA-EP45-UD3R (F12)

Re: EP45-UD3P Rev. 1.6 Question
Sorry, I see from an earlier post that this has already been discussed... Alas, I still am left with two problems:
1. What's with the S3 sleep problem?
2. What's with the non-detection of rear speakers unless I set them as side speakers?Gigabyte EP45-U3DP, rev 1.1, F8 BIOS
