Hope you get your problem sorted, IMO its crazy thinking you can run fast, high density ram on an entry level chipset.
I would run 1066 on x48/P45 only, but thats me, I don't want to tare my hair out with chip limitations and incompatability.
At least I can say, you didnt get four modules, if you had four double sided modules you'd be screwed. :S

I normally dont post this harshly but what were you thinking getting 4GB DDR 1066 and a P43? ?!? o_O
The only help I can offer you is to go and get a credit on your mobo (if its not that old) and use the credit whilst paying the difference and get a higher end chipset, all your troubles will go away provided all the other parts are fine.
