Lose power plug

Hi there,

I have a Gigabyte mini and the battery charge receptacle (male end) seems to have a loose connection; the charger and plug are fine, but the plug needs to "just so" in order to start charging, and sometimes it is impossible. Can this be fixed easily by a technician??

Any thoughts?

Contact Gigabyte and they will hopefully just send you a replacement.

Are you sure which end it is that is actually the loose part?

I mean is it the wire end or the board end that is loose? If you think just the cable is a bit loose then they can likely ship you a new cable, but if you think the end on the board is what is loose then you will likely need to RMA it so they can replace the connection
