Re: Need Gigabyte MA785GMT-UD2H help with bios?
ArtDrivers will be along shortly to help I am sure, I am not much help with AMD, but I suspect your system hangs due to incorrect settings for your memory most likely.
Can you go ahead and post a link to your memory for him, or give him the model #. And then post your BIOS settings as well, images would be fine if you like.

Re: Need Gigabyte MA785GMT-UD2H help with bios?
Hi andjayik Motherboard Manual ----> http://china.giga-byte.com/FileList/...-ud(s)2h_e.pdf
If you want I can help you with that.
You will want to make some adjustments to your bios for your memory.
I can send you a bios template but first may I ask you for your PC health?
Here is a template please use it. Change the TEMPLATE numbers with yours.
You will need to go into bios. Please always when entering bios on the first bios page press and hold the Ctrl Key and then press the F1. Like at the same time Ctrl+F1. This will allow all bios features to appear.
It is suttle but if viewed closly when Ctrl+F1 is pressed the bios will flicker. This has to be performed everytime you enter bios to view all the features.
The template can be printed up. You should use it and please make any and all changes to the template, (not the bios). Post it here so we can see your current PC Health Status.
Code:PC Health Status Hardware Thermal Control [Enabled] Reset Case Open Status [Disabled] Case Opened No Vcore 1.364V DDR3 1.5V 1.536V +3.3V 3.280V +12V 12.048V Current System Temperature 38oC Current CPU Temperature 36oC Current CPU FAN Speed 1962 RPM Current SYSTEM FAN Speed 0 RPM Current NB FAN Speed 0 RPM CPU Warning Temperature [Disabled] CPU FAN Fail Warning [Disabled] SYSTEM FAN Fail Warning [Disabled] NB FAN Fail Warning [Disabled] CPU Smart FAN Control [Enabled] CPU Smart FAN Mode [Auto] System Smart FAN Control [Enabled]
Before posting this you will want to make the changes in red below and reboot back into bios and remember to press Ctrl+F1 each time to see all of your options.
Code:MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.) } Advanced Clock Calibration [Press Enter] CPU Clock Ratio [Auto] 2800Mhz CPU NorthBridge Freq. Re: Need Gigabyte MA785GMT-UD2H help with bios?
Ya, I know what you mean!
Just letting you know as often as I can how much I personally appreciate your help here with AMD. I always felt terrible in the past not being able to offer much advice on AMD Setups and we didn't have any other active AMD members such as yourself.
So thanks again!
